Mrs. Cheryl Harvey- Library-Resource Teacher-Assistant Principal

Hi, my name is Cheryl Harvey. I was born and raised in Milwaukee where I attended St. Sebastian Grade School and Holy Angels High School. From there I traveled north and earned my teaching degree from St. Norbert College. As you can see, I am a product of a Catholic education in Wisconsin.

I began my teaching career as a first grade teacher at St. Casmir School in Milwaukee. Since then have had the opportunity of being a faculty member at some great Catholic schools in the area. I’ve worn many hats in my teaching career - I’ve been a librarian, taught first, second, and third grade, and presently I am the Librarian and Reading Resource person here at Christ King School. I LOVE to read and I especially enjoy sharing that love and excitement with children.

Most of my family resides in the Milwaukee area with the exception of our two beautiful daughters, Meaghan and Allison. They both attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and fell in love with the place. Since then they have settled in and made it their home. Of course I miss them, but I too love Minneapolis and really enjoy visiting.

In my free time I enjoy crafty projects, beading, knitting (I need to graduate from just making scarves), reading, and yes, I’m still addicted to HGTV!
