I am excited to return this year to Christ King School to teach Religion in the middle school.
Last year, I taught at West Bend High Schools in Graphic Design and Communications.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1981 with a BA degree in Industrial Education and minor degree in Art. I am currently near completion of a Masters degree in Teaching from Cardinal Stritch University and I have recently completed Middle Childhood/Early Adolescence Certification. I also have Advanced Certification in Religious Education from the Office of Catechesis and Youth Ministry.
Previously, I have taught middle and high school Technical Education at Columbus Public Schools near Madison, Wisconsin and computers at Mother of Good Counsel in Milwaukee. For over five years I was a Catechist and led the children’s liturgy at Port Catholic in Port Washington.
My wife and I have two children-our daughter Caitlin is beginning high school this year and our son Patrick begins college. We are kept busy trying to keep up with their school and work schedules.
This year promises to be a very exciting and educational journey through Religion. We will be studying many aspects of theology and scripture within the classroom, field trips and retreats. I will also be co-instructing a homeroom. I look forward to working again this year with the students and the wonderful staff and administration at Christ King School.
I share in the words of John Paul II to the young people- In Christ you have the ability to make this world a better place. Through your friendships, your family, your work, your school, and your athletic, artistic and intellectual talents, you can spread the Good News of God’s love in ways that only a young person can. |
