Your role as a parishioner of Christ King Parish is critical to the life of the school. Your children benefit when you actively participate in
parish life, volunteer and financially support the parish. The parish, in turn, supports the school and your child’s education both financially and
spiritually.
Refer to the school policy as to volunteer hour expectations, and remember that each school family should contribute to stewardship a minimum of $650 per year to maintain active parish member status and receive the associated discounted tuition rate. As noted in the chart, the actual cost to the parish to educate each child is much greater than the parishioner tuition rate. Many families contribute much more than the minimum level, for which we are very grateful. The $650 per year is a minimum expectation, so that we can ensure that all families benefiting from a Christ King education are participating in the support of the parish and school through stewardship. Tuition, fees and fundraising do not cover the full cost of educating your child. Stewardship giving is another critical part of your role as the parent of a child at Christ King School. We thank you so much for your efforts!
It is the intention of the parish and school to enroll students even for families experiencing financial hardship. We recommend that those needing assistance give the parish weekly stewardship payments and then request money from the School Endowment Fund for Tuition Assistance. Contact Geri Johnson, Director of Finance & Administration, for information regarding tuition assistance.
Registered families will receive a tuition billing early in June. The first tuition payment is due July 15, 2011. If you are able to pay full tuition at that time, it is appreciated as it reduces administrative costs. Several payment plans are offered:
